P&IDs for ships.

Trace an old PDF or start on a blank sheet. Tags, lists and the vessel model stay in one drawing, on your own PC.

Two bunker stations drawn on the MGO diagram of MV FULMAR, our concept vessel: a symbol from the library, a line, a valve that cuts it, a copy for the second station and the main deck from the ship.

See it work

The real program, on a ship of our own.

Each clip is Marine Flow Studio at work on MV FULMAR, our 88.9 m general cargo concept vessel.

SYMBOLS

Your own symbols, drawn in the program.

Draw a symbol with the drawing's own tools on a 0.5 mm grid, give it connection nodes and text slots, and save it to your library. Drop a valve on a line and the line is cut and joined to its nodes; a balloon reads its loop number from the tag.

A screw-down non-return globe valve and an instrument balloon, made in the Symbol Builder and placed on FUL-P-01.

LIBRARY

A real product behind each symbol.

Link a tube, a strainer, a pump or a valve to a model from the makers' catalogs in your Technical Spec Library. The model of the line's size comes first, checked against the line's fluid. Its data can go on the sheet, and the valve and equipment lists carry its maker and model.

The MGO transfer pumps of MV FULMAR: tube, strainer, pump and valve linked to products of demo makers.

SHEET

The sheet sets itself up.

Pick the format, tick the border and the title block, and type your values. The symbol legend writes itself from the symbols on the drawing: leave out the rows you do not need, rename the rest, and a symbol you place later gets a row of its own.

FUL-P-01 on A1: title block, revision A, and a two-column symbol legend without the tanks.

VESSEL

The ship, in 3D.

Frames, decks, bulkheads, compartments and tanks, declared once in the Vessel Model. Look through the hull deck by deck and frame by frame, and link the ship to the P&ID when you want it.

LISTS

Line, valve, equipment and instrument lists come from the drawing, and STATUS says what each row still needs.

DIGITIZE

A PDF traced in five steps: you mark the symbols, Claude identifies them against your library, and the program draws them.

OUT TO THE YARD

Vector PDF with layers, DXF R2000 with blocks, DEXPI as Proteus XML 4.1.1, and CSV for Excel.

Your drawings stay on your PC.

What is sent, and when
  • A Windows program. Your drawings are files on your own disk, never on our servers.
  • AI is Claude, with your own Anthropic key, and it sees only the zones you mark.
  • Without a key, no drawing data leaves your PC. The lists, the checks and the exports never use the network.
